Dr. Boya Yin, Ph.D., P.E., is a seasoned geotechnical engineer and emerging business leader with a global footprint across Asia and North America. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Arup in Hong Kong, she has led multidisciplinary energy and infrastructure projects in regions including Japan, South Korea, and the Maldives. Her expertise spans offshore wind farms, solar energy systems, HVDC transmission, and major transportation developments.
Prior to joining Arup, Dr. Yin held key engineering roles in the United States, contributing to landmark projects such as the MBTA Green Line Extension in Massachusetts and high-rise foundation designs in New York. Her academic foundation includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Duke University, where she pioneered seismic data methodologies for hospital infrastructure in New Zealand.
Dr. Yin is currently pursuing an MBA at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where she was awarded the Terry Tsang Admissions Scholarship and recognized as a finalist in the Enhancing Professional Skills Competition. Her leadership extends beyond the workplace—she serves as Vice President of the University of Macau Hong Kong Alumni Association and holds professional affiliations with the Institute of Engineers Australia, ASCE, and EERI.

加入 Arup 前，尹博士曾在美國擔任要職，參與麻省 MBTA 綠線延伸項目及紐約高層建築地基設計等重要工程。她於美國杜克大學取得土木與環境工程博士及碩士學位，並開發地震數據分析新方法，應用於新西蘭基督城婦女醫院的抗震性能評估。
目前，她正於香港科技大學攻讀工商管理碩士（MBA），獲頒 Terry Tsang 入學獎學金，並入選「提升專業技能」比賽決賽。她積極參與社群事務，擔任澳門大學香港校友會副會長，並為澳洲工程師學會、美國土木工程師學會及地震工程研究院會員。
